I attended International Women's Day Documentary Screening and watched Althea Gibson, the Wimbledon winner you’ve never heard of. I went to watch the movie of Wimbledon, because I have play tennis since I was a high school student. I could not understand the contents of it a little. I was surprised that Althea Gibson became the first winner of tennis with the black.
I'm so glad you attended the film screening! Watching movies in your second language can be tiring, but it's nice when they are related to your own experiences. There are tennis courts here in Chattanooga — maybe you can find a partner!
