[Food, health, and the Environment.]

The Morning Seminar

     It is Food Deserts. We talked about foods, trees, and maple.
2. What were the main ideas/terms/definitions of the seminar?
    The main idea is how to make maple.
3. Did you learn anything new from the seminar?
    The sugar maple tree is tall.
4. What was the most interesting idea or concept that you learned today?
    Bonsai was popular in foreign countries.
5. How will you use this information in the future?
   I will tell my friends that Bonsai is popular in US.

   It was Teaching and Learning Gardening Project.
2. Where did the afternoon project take place?
    We gardened at a parking lot on campus.
3. What was the purpose of the afternoon project?
    The purpose was to experience gardening
4. Who did you meet at the project location?
    We met Dr. Jose Barbosa.
5. What did you learn from the project?
    I learned how hard gardening is
6. What was the best part or most interesting aspect of the project?
   We did gardening. It was really hard.
7. How will you apply what you learned during the project in the future?
    I can survive by what I learned during this project, if I am in desert island.

   We need a lot of foods to survive, so we have to keep on making foods such as gardening. The gardening is really hard. In addition, in Japan, there are not enough farmers. I think we shouldn't waste food.
